Er, this ain't "Blues" whatever you were feeling

That said, I still liked it quite a bit!
I just think it's miscategorized. I don't know where to put it, but I know "Blues" is the wrong category.
But whatever. I hope you keep making tunes because this one is good. File them wherever the hell you want.

Whirlguy responds:

And I will :P
And yeah, I know this aint blues, thanks for reviewing^-^

Drama-rama!

Someday I'll be able to make my plucked violins sound as good as yours... but that day is far away, alas. The vocals were lovely too. Very dramatic overall -- the underscores especially punctuated the major themes so cinematically. Very visual.

MaestroRage responds:

Drama-rama... that has be the awesomest phrase ever. Despite it's obviousness I can't believe I've never thought of it.

As for the plucked sounds, since these are libraries recorded by people who have played strings longer then i've lived, we can only hope they do it right :D!

It's good you saw the visual aspects of this song, all of my work in fact, uses a strong visual background to create. This was of course, no exception.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Terrific!

Very dramatic -- beautifully done! The dynamics moved all over the place with out ever being jarring. I especially loved the harpsichord touches at the end.

MaestroRage responds:

Ah yes, the harpischord was an instrument that me and LadyArsenic at the beginning decided to use. Ordinarily a song like this would call for the organ, but that was just so overused, we thought a change would be nice. I'm glad you thought the harpischord was a neat addition.

Thank you for the review, i'm glad you liked it!

Nice!

I mostly like it, but I feel there's a chunk in the first half that could use a little shaking up. It's in the part 2 of the quarters (if you were to divide the piece into quarters...) where I'm thinking maybe some accents here and there, whether percussion or guitar or whatever, could shake it up just a bit.
But it's a good piece -- very dramatic.

InsaneSmilie responds:

Thanks for the advise. This is my first attempt at creating industrial, so I'm still trying to work with different styles. I see what you mean with the accents, I suppose a bit more variation in general would help, will definitely keep that in mind when I compose the actual song. Thanks for reviewing.
